The Lady in Okanagan Mountain can be seen from the vantage point of the Lower Mission in Kelowna, BC. Her wavy hair flows west down to the beaches to a distant vanishing point by rattlesnake island.  Her chest rises toward the east dropping to her belly fecund and barren.  Her straight nose suggests spiritual meditation.  Her metamorphic eyes adjust with weather and time illustrating sleep, open awareness, or shaded leisure.  But her lips and prominent cheekbone always meet in a wistful smile. Gritty and rock solid, she holds a perpetual smile.  Though scarred from wildfire, she smiles.  When covered with winter snow, she smiles.

This collection includes the changing shades of Lake Okanagan, and the shapes and shadows on Okanagan Mountain that keep the lady in the mountain perpetually smiling.
